Self-esteem, empowerment, liberation... sensuality
Two girls of 26, 27 years old, without careers, married and unattended, take the car looking for their own space and to give meaning to their lives. The adventure becomes complicated when they are robbed and they meet a charming and libertarian gigolo in a motel. He inspires them to open a business that will change their lives - that of many. It's a place where women, in addition to satisfying their sexuality, look and feel validated, because what does an unsatisfied woman do when no one looks at her anymore? Pay. It is given. The “Sale of the Gnomes” uses as its façade a ceramic shop where the gigolo works and whose owner hardly goes. The beginnings are difficult, especially when the store owner discovers them. This one, a single lady and businesswoman in her sixties... finances them. He's their mentor. It all works until their husbands find them, they're discovered by the police, they're in jail, and they... they flourish. Love, Sisterhood and the challenge of always Being Themselves (themselves and all their clients) detonate them. Black humor, some melodrama and a lot of sensuality.
