WHEN POWER IS LOST AND JUSTICE BETRAYS YOU, LIVING IS NOT ENOUGH, YOU HAVE TO REGAIN CONTROL OVER YOUR LIFE
Petra's well-off life changes completely when she quashes a prison riot that keeps the country in suspense and she is named the first woman in charge of “Siberia”, the maximum security prison, a task that is not easy as a woman, mother and sexy in a violent, sexist and misogynistic environment of prisoners, guards and politicians. Her profile as a humanist woman, capable of maintaining absolute control over the criminal justice system, serve to promote her husband's candidacy for the presidency. But it also endangers and wears out the lives of her two teenage children when her husband wins and betrays her. Petra is left at the mercy of the jailers, murderers and criminals over whom she ruled until yesterday, and unable to look after her children. The young woman falls into addiction; the boy, in a spiral that leads him to commit a crime, abusing the power of being “the son of”. Her strength and finding the love of her life in hell, “Christ” -a man also unjustly imprisoned and leader of the inmates in “Siberia” -, make Petra overcome, achieving justice and rescuing her children, because, “love can do everything in the face of power”.
